Hey all,

So I'm getting some new 20" wheels and tyres for my magna..

Here's two photos of my current magna TJ:

Currently it's got 18" 235/35R18 PDW +45 offset wheels. The car has king super low's on front and rear.

I need some suggestions on what 20" wheels I should get. Do I get 20" wheels with the same +45 offset? I just want the wheels to be flush with the car and not look sunken in. I've read that some people with 20" wheels have to have their guards rolled a little.

Here's a magna's I've seen with 20" wheels, and this one specifically has king super low's as well and he had to get his guards rolled.

What are the general rules on 20" wheels for my magna TJ? In other words, what offset? what type of tyres to get? etc.. Also how does it drive if I were to get the 20" wheels on the car? And if I got 20" wheels would it make it a similar drive if I had 225 tyres on it instead of 235 or?

i cant fit 235mm tyres, as its too close the upper control arms on the rear, apparently VRX and Sports had different shaped arms, that dont have this problem

You're more likely to find 20" rims with an offset of around +40 (the lower the offset, the further out it'll stick out of the guard).

I had to roll my rear guards with 18s. If you want a tight fitment, you will definitely need to roll your guards.

Bigger rims = heavier = higher unsprung weight = dulled performance. Plus ride comfort will obviously deteriorate when you have rubber bands for tyres.
