Odd one turned up at my local Pick-a-Part this week. Looked like a KS Verada wagon (parabolics, Verada Grille, V6 auto) but different trim, non Climate-control A/C, no ABS. It was badged "V3000 Executive" on the tailgate. Had a red plate under the bonnet that described it as an 11/95 "Mitsubishi V3000 KS Export". Also had a 2003 "private import" plate and various Queensland mod plates (assuming to register it when it was re-imported)? My guess is a factory export to NZ and re-imported.
Parabolics and badge now in my parts box. Can anyone shed any light on this model?

Someone has moved here from Nz and brought it with them.
Only country they were sold as V3000. Not sure what point they stopped assembling Magna in Nz. Vee

You need a Japanese produced Diamante to get that motor. There are some that have been imported used into New Zealand.
Would be lucky to get one here unless a Kiwi has moved here and brought one with them. Vee.
The Japanese spec Diamante was built from 1990 until 1995 and was available in front and all-wheel drive.
The second iteration of the Diamante was introduced in Japan in January 1995. The car was marginally larger with improved headroom.
Several engines were available. The base engine was a 2.5 L MVV (lean burn) V6, followed by a number of 2.5- and 3.5-liter variants, the 2.5 L engine sported 175 hp and the 3.5 L engine boasted 210 hp. The new Diamante range in Japan topped off with a 3.0 L MIVEC V6 rated at 201 kW (274 PS; 270 hp) at 6000 rpm and 304 N·m (224 ft·lbs) at 4500 rpm.

At ABC at Oxley. Has analogue clock. In the highly unlikely event it was a MIVEC, it's disappeared anyway.
