Hey guys,
Does anybody know anywhere in VIC that can "tighten" the accelerator....not sure if that is something that can be done haha, the car doesn't seem to do much until about a 1/4 of the way down.
Also my speedo according to GPS and AaronoTG's magna, seems to be out by like 8 or 9 km/h.
Anybody know how to re calibrate this?
Thanks heaps!

My understanding is the 380 has a drive-by-wire throttle so there’s no throttle cable as such which can be adjusted.
Those more knowledgeable than me would probably have better information though.

Yep, drive by wire throttle, so nothing much you can do to correct the speedo over-read, short of changing wheels/tyres to something with a bigger overall diameter.
I bought a gadget from Jaycar a couple of years ago that supposedly can fix this, but never fitted it.
With the 'doesn't do much until the throttle is 1/4 the way down' problem, you might have a sticking/gummed up throttle body butterfly. Attack it with some carby cleaner, get rid of any gunge build up, and it might cure your problem. Easy enough to get at, just loosen the two clamps that hold the tube between the throttle body (on the end of the intake plenum) and the MAF sensor, and remove the tube from the throttle body.

Thanks guys.
Knowing me I'd try that and end up screwing my car up.
Perhaps next meet some of the guys could show me how to do it?

Ever considered this may be a deliberate design feature, a "soft" throttle response to make driving the car in low speed stop-start traffic easier? I hate driving a car in heavy traffic that has a twitchy (too quick) throttle response.
