An australian hi-flow cat shouldn't make any difference to emissions as they all have to pass certain adr's and emissions tests to be allowed to be sold.

And you'll probably find that it won't make much of a difference anyway. Our cats aren't that restrictive and any difference you see I doubt could be quantifiable on a dyno anyway.

Yeah, they're eventually die like that but considering his car is pretty new, it should be okay.
