hi all just replaced my rear bank of spark plugs with some platniums. was being lazy and didnt disconnect the throttle body from the intake manifold just propped it up with a spanner so i could access the sparkys... also sprayed the air filter with the compressor to clean it up (yeah i know but im kinda suffering from an anorexic wallet so...) took it for a test drive (10ks of urban driving) and everytime i was off the throttle the car would stall, occasionally the rpms would drop to zero before rising to about 500 then stalling. now im curious as to weather my laziness has resulted in me damaging the fuel pressure regulator or if its the tps or is it the auto idle control valve. now i dont think its the egr however i did have to disconnect it from the manifold. any help would be greatly appreciated as i cant go overboard on repair cost's.

so now i pulled the air intake hose off the throttle body and cleaned the interior of the throttle body with minor luck now it idles at about 300-400 however doesn't stall :) still cant help but think its only being temperamental because the idle should sit higher than 400 however the test drive went successfully without a single stall much better than yesterday ( when it would stall as i was going around corners and the brakes and power steering would fail as the engine was off
