So couldn't be bothered to try and work this one out ,but here goes.

On the standard cars interior light circuit ,you have the red/red-white wire that runs from the fuse box up the A pillar.

All well and good ,red is power ,red-white is your switching wire to activate your interior lights.

So ,i have a couple of wires tapped into the red wire ,power for other lights ,vanity mirrors ,leds etc..all good

Also ,have tapped into the red/white to activate the footwells .

Remembering that this red/red-white wire is also running to the centre interior light to provide power and switching from the doors.

Now ,here is the whole damm problem.

The Verada chromatic wiring loom only has POWER for the map reading light in its loom..or is the green wire the same as the red-white wire..?

now thats my problem...!!!

How do i retain the std wire set up and power the chromatic mirror at the same time ?

(...just had a thought...can i repin the wires at the plug where it goes into the fuse box to retain both aspects ? ie..take out the Verada power and earth wire and reinstall the Magna red/red-white wires ...)

Instead of the hassle of repinning ,could i simply just splice into the new Verada loom on the A pillar into the red/green wires....using the red/red-white wires...

that way i dont have to rewire everything ...
