Ok I hope this makes sense to someone I wish to install a jaycar interior delay circuit board to my TF exec but am running into problems correctly wiring it in to the car.
I also have LED lights in place in the car being the centre roof light two under dash floor well lights and two small LED stick on strips under front seats to light rear floor and LED globe in ignition barrel. Now these lights come on when opening doors and go out when closed and I have wired all into the driver door trigger wire, can someone tell me a correct way to add board as when I do so far it doesn't work cheers

Ment to mention I have been told I'm best not to join into the wire running to Led globes as they don't pump out enough power for board or something like that.
What I get when trying is the light staying on all the time when doors are closed, and I wish to have the delay cancel out when the ignition is kicked over.

You could use a normally closed relay to power the delay, and use the ignition as a trigger. From my experience, though, tapping into the ignition wires as a power source for anything causes sparks. And that's with correct polarity.

A capacitor can help with a fade/delay off. Though, if you're after a specific time delay off then a relay like van mentioned is an idea. Not familiar with the Jaycar board though.
