hi everyone, i was changing a bulb in the cluster on my other half's TF today and when i went to test it after i fitted it all back up, i had no park lights, tail lights or dash lights, so i pulled the cluster out to check if i bumped something and one of the gold plastic bits on the top wasn't sitting right, so i fixed that, but still nothing, so i checked the fuses, i had blown 1 of the Parker fuses but even after i replaced it they still don't work, has anyone got any other suggestions as to what to check??,
thanks,

Not sure if it would be it or not but have you checked the blue fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay with the yellow box round its

What naynayweston said. check 15 amp fuse in yellow surround, I pop it tonight when I ran wires for the illuminated sun visors I installed.

no worries, ill change that one tomorrow arvo, too dark and cold now, if its not that could it be possible the cluster is damaged by the top connector not lining up probably and shorting something?

Possible but check the fuse. Best to not having switched on when playing with harnesses or connectors (includes the cluster connectors at the back).

no worries, ill post back here when Ive checked it tomorrow, failing that i might try the wreckers to see if another cluster will fix it,
thanks,

ive fixed it for a second, than i think i fried my cluster when the green connectors weren't sitting right, cos when i swapped the fuse smoke started coming out from behind the cluster, so i quickly turned it off, pulled the cluster and found abit of the green plastic on the back around the globe holders was abit melted, so ill have to grab one from a wrecker tomorrow arvo. Ive temporarily taken the fuse for the parkers out and everything else works as normal, ill post back tomorrow after i swap the clusters
