Hi,
After the service on my gf's 98 Magna came to $250, the guy then went and told her it needs all new belts soon, which he said he could do for another $250.. Now i found a guy selling timing belts (which the guy said is the most expensive of the belts) which fits the following cars, my question is, would it fit a 98 Magna? as its still a 3 litre too :doubt:
Pajero NE,NF,NG,NH 3.0Ltr V6 1988-93
Magna TE 3.0Ltr V6 1996-97
Magna TR,TS 3.0Ltr V6 1991-97
Pajero NJ,NK,NL 3.0Ltr V6 1993-96
Triton MG,MH,MJ 3.0Ltr V6 1990-96
Verada KR,KS 3.0Ltr V6 1991-96
also, is $250 a good price to change over all of the belts?? he said that some might not need changing but he will check as he is taking them off.. and are timing belts that expensive? would it be worth buying the one mentioned above if it does fit a 98 magna cos its only $20 including postage..
Thanks
