well i have started fixing up my car abit and one of the things on my list is to get the check engine light to turn off (it is showing code 25 "barometric pressure sensor")

i have changed the air flow sensor from another car i have recently acquired as a donor however the light keeps coming on.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be great

mine is a 3.5 2000 TH (donor is a "3l i think" 98 Solara)

Thank you very much for quick reply

I was told in my other thread all parts would be the same

6g74 engine according to engine NO# so that would be a 3.5 yes/no? (i thought the 98s had a 3l sorry my mistake)

unless i am mistaken altogether

Sorry not so great on this.

The te and tf don't have barra sensor. You need maf from a th onwards. All right to TW will work

Most, not all parts are same. There are a few minor engine management differences as well as exhaust different. Totally different abs system as well

Ahh that would make sense as to why it didn't make a difference. Thank you very much for clearing that up for me i shall have to look for a new one to hopefully fix my problem. (still not a big lose on the donor car though i have already gotten more then i paid for it worth in parts and trim)

would you possible be able to shed some light upon the other components that will be no good to me as then i could save storing them and be able to off them to others :D

Ps i wouldnt possibly be able to find out a price for a MAF through mits-fix (postage to SEQ)

Just about everything is interchangable. Slight differences in electrical bits etc.
