Hey guys I made a earlier thread about "will she make it to 1m"

Well here's an update, i had 18" Mags on there and the offset was 85, , totally shot my struts! so i went back to the stocks but this time i put stock hearub caps hahah, i will upload a vid later today, here are some update pics...


Current Problems:
- Rear & front engine Mounts need to be replaced
- 4th Gear is shot in my 2nd transmission because i was towing a r35 track car with overdrive on!!
- Front and rear shocks need to be replaced
- Tappets need adjusting and seals need to be changed "Currently Fixed the issue by useing 40-70w Oil ^_^
- Drive light in cluster is not lighting up "Weird"

Changed my Rocker Cover gasket on monday because it was starting to leak..

Appart from this it runs smooth and 103kw Tested on a dyno, but this was when my OD was working lol

143kW from an Astron II? Whatever the secret is, I want it on my TR. :D

Also, is this the original engine or a replacement? Has it been rebuilt? Balance & Timing Chain replacement intervals? Just curious to know what mileage I can hope for out of my 2.6 SE. Definitely impressive having made it this far.

Would also be keen to know what you used to do the rocker cover. Loving the finish on that blue. I'd probably do mine silver so it looks mostly stock but with just a little more shine to it.

You didn't have +85 offset wheels and you don't have 143kw on a dyno, sorry but you've lost me.

Yeah 143kw atw on an NA 2.6 seems a bit far fetched. Sure it wasnt 143nm of torque. Either that or the operator tested it in the wrong gear - I've seen a dyno sheet for a tj pulling "700nm" because the dyno operator ran it in third gear.

But anyway 850k... where the hell do you take this to rack up that many ks? Looking forward to seeing this hit 1m

Think you mean 103Kw as thats what they are rated at from factory. 3.0 litre V6 was 125kw (from memory). Vee

98kW on Unleaded 91, 102kW on Unleaded 95 as the engine has a knock sensor. I think those are flywheel figures, and of course those figures are when the engine was brand new, not sure what that looks like after 200,000+ kilometres on a stock engine.

Yeah I meant 103kw but that was before my exhuast kit so I dunno what I have now.
