the reverse sensors on my 380 suddenly stopped working, they still beep twice when put in R but fail to pick up any objects unless its less than 2cm from the sensor. Have cleaned the sensors, still wont work. Any help appreciated!

Disconnected mine as they beep all the time in hot weather when reversing

The initial 2 beeps is from the controller when it receives power. Is this a dealer fit or aftermarket? The controller could be somewhere in the dash or in the boot behind the carpeting. My car has a vertical slot on the RHS just behind the wheel arch where the controller is fitted (right above the tow bar harness). It could be faulty controller or loose connection at the controller (doubt it as each one is plugged in separately) or fault sensor (doubt all four will go at once unless someone rear-ended you with/without you knowing).

I fitted eBay purchased one when I got my car and when I was rear-ended, there were no significant damage to the bumper (just surface abbrasions) but all four sensors died.

Is this a dealer fit or aftermarket?

I got it second hand installed by Mal, so I assume its dealer fitted.

Factory fitted 380 ones are fitted under the rear parcel shelf on the LHS. Never had dramas with mine.
