Hello all,

Let me just start by stating this is for a speedway car, not on road use, where ABS is not allowed.

I guess the two options I have are to leave the ABS unit in place/connected (where it will do nothing but brakes will still work? not certain of this, wont be plugged in etc)

or fully remove the ABS unit (on an ABS car) and replace it with a "PROPORTIONING VALVE" which is what I understand I would require? Would an older model TE magna valve with no ABS work fine or is this something no one has really done?

Cheers

Bump for general interest.

Maybe pull it all out and retro fit the brake system from an earlier series Magna? I made that sound simple, but I think there's more to it.

Even a few tj had no abs

Issue will be brake lines as they are slightly different all around, a lot of work to go to

Ion rally cars we just simply disconnect other abs ecu or in the case of a 389 where with the abs ecu unplugged engine won't run, remove the ecu from the modulator and keep connected so the car thinks it is there.

Simply unplug the abs ecu and the brakes will operate perfectly as normal just with no qbs
