Was trying to chage the low beam globe and the damm spring came off the assembly.
For the life of me cannot figure out how to put it back.
Any tips? Got a road trip on Thursday, have to get the headlight working.
Please help.....

the spring is held on by a metal clip on the bottom of the light, I dont think from memory that you specifically need the clip to put it back but i would be finding it putting the spring back into place then pushing the metal clip over the bottom of the groove where the spring goes.

Thanks Taniagirl. The metal clip was still on, would not have known to look for it if not for your reply.
Gently and carefully prised it off, put the globe in followed by the spring and then painstakingly put the metal clip back on.
How awful is the design for replacing globes. Absolute PITA. And it had to be the passenger side, which is even worse to work on.
I have not replaced globes on many other cars but surely they all cannot be this hard?

i actually just removed the head light when i had that same problem with the L/H head light on my one as it was easier to see what i was doing when the clip fell off
