Hi all,
The headlights on the TJ look to be pointed too far left, too low - and are also very yellow.
Is there an accurate aiming method that can be done at home?
Also - I have Halogen H4's on the Pulsar; got 'em off Ebay for under $30 landed from the UK (shops here wanted $90-$115). They are nice and white - what bulbs do the TJ's have in as stockies?
Cheers

But the part you're after is this:
Standard headlamp high beam - H4 55/60W
Standard headlamp low beam - H1 55W
Driving lights - H3 55W (They are actually Foglamps)
Parking lights - H5W (5W)
Parabolic headlamp high beam - H1 55W
Parabolic headlamp low beam - H7 55W
Verada driving lights - H3 55W

Thanks Skap! OK - I've been really happy with the Osram +90% H4's that I got from the UK; (without any Voodoo-ey type blue tricks etc). Does anyone have advice on correct aiming of lamps?

Brick wall at night, park 15 m away and square on, twiddle with the adjustments. Block one off to test the other for alignment. Get them right, test drive, repeat as needed.

Hey Skapper,
Standard headlamp high beam - H4 55/60W
Standard headlamp low beam - H1 55W
I checked out the TJ's lamp unit - it's a twin lamp unit inside a glass nacelle. Not totally sure yet - but the low beam appears to have Hi/Lo and an additional lamp alongside comes on with High beam. So are you saying the Low is a single filament H1? And the High is a dual filament H4?
Cheers

Standard headlamp high beam - H4 55/60W
Standard headlamp low beam - H1 55W
Is that possibly the other way round? ie low beam is the 55W of the H4, then high beam is the 60W of the H4 plus the 55W of the H1?
That would make low a total of 110W and high 230W.

That does sound about right. To be 100% sure, check the tops of the actual headlights with the bonnet up - you should see the "H4" and "H1" (or "H1" and "H7") embossed on the black plastic of the headlight body.

Just love how the Mitsy's can be so logical sometimes!
