G'day Guys.

Now i know this topic has been touched on more than once, but i honestly cannot figure out how to do the conversion I'm looking at.

I have a TE exec, and I found a KJ Verada ( Not sure if series one or two, if anyone could help me with identifying that if its necessary, that would be awesome.) Thats being wrecked, and the guy wants 300 bucks for the interior, and its in fairly good nick. now i want to install the power windows and the blackout cluster, but I'm not sure on the wiring. i could probably make the wiring myself, i have a wiring diagram and im sure i could eventually get it all to work, but id want to see if i could get advice here instead.

Now to wire up the window regulators, i assume they will fit if at max some drilling is required to the doors to fit, but what wiring needs to be done? i assume there is a loom but how would i go about acquiring it? and i know that i need a new loom for the blackout cluster, but is anything else required for it to be functional? i have a 2.4l 4 speed auto, and the cluster is coming from a 3.5l auto.

Cheers, Lachlan.

Best bet is wait for MadMagna to chime in but since you have a TE Exc, you probably dont have the plugs already there for power windows meaning the dash loom will need to be swapped out, so you could either grab a loom from a KJ, but then I think you have to work around the issues of a BEM and what not, however that should almost ensure the blackout cluster fits in.

Or, you could grab a KE/KF Verada Dash loom, replace yours with that, this will give you the plugs for power windows, then you only need the floor loom, and then you only have to alter the wiring for the cluster (but im not sure how that is done). I have a 3L TE Exec and I want power windows, cruise and climate control so I bought a KF Verada as a wreck, currently stripping the dash loom, engine bay loom, and floor loom out of it so I can have it all, then I might look into the blackout cluster down the track.

Thats my 2c's but im not sure how accurate I am.

Cheers for the quick reply man, i was thinking about just wiring the regulators up custom, instead of worrying about doing it to full stock. would rather just wire it myself and save money than buy a loom to do a job i could do myself.
