Well I did a quick oil change late this afternoon, about 8k since the last one. Low and behold there is a lot of oil underneath, when 2 months ago there was nothing. I couldn't see much but it appears to be coming from the front bank above/near the exhaust manifold. The manifold bolts had had oil dripping off them. The oil is the passenger side of the car at the front. It is not the rocker gasket as I changed that and the tubes 6 months ago. The car has 190k any ideas. I will endeavour to look further on the weekend but a good idea now would be a great help.

Did you clean up the motor after replacing the rocker cover gasket? Are you sure the rocker gasket sealed 100%?

The reason I asked is because in the area you described I dont believe there is anything else that could be leaking oil. If it was on the side of the motor fair enough but the front hmmm.

+1, clean it again, run engine, watch where it leaks from.

Look at the front cylinder head on the passenger side - there's a cover where the camshaft goes. Mine was leaking oil from there because the rubber O-ring seal that goes on the cover had deteriorated with age.
