Now i'm kind of an idiot when it comes to cars, i'll admit I know nothing, i'm learning everything I know by throwing money and time at my car.

What I would like to know, is I have a V6SI TS, I want an exhaust that will fit the motor i've ordered from the US (6G72TT) but also the engine I have now which is the plain old SOHC v6

If I was to get an exhaust, catalytic converter, muffler I have a few questions.

Firstly, whats the difference between a Mandrel bend setup and normal bend setup, performance wise.

And lastly, what size do I need, I was looking at 2.25, 2.5 and 3 inch cat converters, 200CPSI is decided, just not aware on size... Same goes for muffler, 2.25 or 2.5 or 3 inch?

I should also note that I dont want that stupid cannon sound on my exhaust, I want to keep the v6 magna engine growl, but I also want to increase flow, and maybe performance a little bit, and a tiny bit extra sound.

Oh and any advice is appreciated, cause I wanna order today.

Doesnt matter what size you choose as long as it is all the same. I suggest you go to an exhaust shop and get an exhaust made from the cat back. 2.5 inches is probably enough. Unless you go big power. Then when u get the new engine do all the pipes up front. Because the new motor is twin turbo youll need a completely different set of pipes from the cat forward.
So cat and behind can be done now..
Everything before that when you get the new engine
