Is a torque wrench needed to tighten up the adjustment bolts on the tensioners for the power steering and alternator belts, or just some common sense enough?

You love making new threads lol.
I dont use a torque wrench as once its tightened you measure the amount of slack when you push on the belt between two pensioners/pullies. Once again this is outlined in the service manual, I just use common sense though.

That there common sense leads to all sorts of trouble. lol And don't bully the pensioners. lol
Slacken off the centre bolt, tighten the adjuster, look at slack in belt. When correct, tighten centre bolt, back off adjuster a bit, tighten centre bolt more, once tight give the adjuster a bit of a tighten to stop it from backing off and falling right out.
Belts needs a tension of 10 Kg/cm.
You could not get a torque wrench in there if you tried, anyway.

Thanks guys for the advice :)
And it's not that I have a particular affinity to creating threads, I just want to be sure I have all the info before attempting anything :)
