Prior to moving from Newcastle to Canberra I had the wheel alignment checked as the left front edge of the tyre was noticeably more worn than the RHD side. Anyway after another 10 000km the left 2 inches of the inner left edge is noticeably bald, requiring a replacement tyre.

Its my wife car and I noticed it pulling to the left until I checked and udjusted the low tyre pressures. The car seems to track pretty well now. The increased tyre shoulder wear could be a combination of the low tyre pressure and the added wear to the damage already done prior to the wheel alignment.

My question prior to getting a wheel alignment is that is the camber adjustable as I suspect thats the cause of the increased wear. If it was incorrect toe Id expect to see some feathering. If its incorrect camber can I do a rough check at home? Ive seen this done on You tube and it doesnt look too complicated. From searches I suspect the camber may be out due to a damaged lower control arm.

Just measure from a flat surface up and see how far the top of the rim is inwards and comparr to the other side

The camber is not adjustable on a magna unless you have fitted an aftermarket camber bolt (I do not recommend doing this as they tend to break).

Lower tyre pressure will generally wear both inner and outer edges so it may pay to have your alignment re checked as it's cheaper than continuously replacing tyres.

Did you receive a print-out of your alignment when it was done? This would show you what the camber was.

Was one tyre much lower in pressure than than the other. This can cause pulling to one side, particallary if aftermarket wheels that stick out more are fitted. The tyre pressure should be checked before doing a wheel alignment so prehaps you have a slow leak.

I notice that wearing the outer edge of the front tires is common on Magnas, especially the passenger side (I think this is normal for right hand drive cars due to roundabouts etc).
Maybe getting some camber pins wouldn't be a bad idea seeing as they would in theory give longer tire life and more front end grip
