Hello all,

Just chasing if there was ever any standard Magna 15x7inch rims made? Or if anyone knows of any available of other cars which fit fine, without the need for the bore locating rims (this will be used for a speedway car so not 100% a problem with offset, obviously within reason).

I had looked at some Cherokee XJ rims, with offset of 32mm, but believe the bore is 71.5mm. Could I get away without the locating rims (Will be changing tyres/rims regularly often to rims without the need for the locating rings etc be easier without).

Or if anyone in WA has some cheap Magna rims for sale please let me know, chasing only 15 and possibly 16inch.

Cheers

You dont need locating rings really. More of a comfort thing

AU and onwards Falcons are a similar fit to 3rd gen Magnas. That's where I'd be looking if you want 15x7" wheels.

Are they the same bore size also?

Magnas are 67.1mm and Falcons are 73.1mm off the top of my head. Either way, Falcons have a larger centre bore so they'll definitely fit.

Cheers, just wondering has anyone ran these wheels without the bore size locators? As often with speedway will be constantly changing rims etc. I researched and found the Jeep Cherokee wheels are 71.5mm so I couldnt find any locating rims for these wheels online.

The locating rings are designed to help center the wheel on the hub so it does not cause any vibration or miscomfort on the road. On the dirt track locating rings are not gonna make a difference.
