Hey guys just wondering about my V6 TF Magna, about a month or two ago now I had two new front tyres put on the car via local Kmart tyre and auto shop the mrs picked it up and I drove half hour to work next morning. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary till I drove home that afternoon and the car sort of wobbled along the road from time to time.
Looking in the driver door mirror I spotted the rear of the car slightly fish tailing sort of movement, not all the time just every now and then and felt very slight but in the mirror you could notice this and this was the first time I have noticed the car doing this.
Later that night it was still doing it so I decided to check the air in the tyres only to find instead of the 34 pound I put all round it had 39 in one and 40 in the other three, so I returned them to normal and seem to settle down but still has the very very slight wobble every now and then. So I am wondering what may be making this happen and what I could do cheers guys

When they fit new tires did they do a wheel alignment as well?

I think they did well maybe only the front as the front tyres were the ones replaced the rear didn't get touched so maybe that's the reason the car wobbles cheers.

Yes if they did a poor wheel alignment the car can lose stability

have you checked the wheel nuts

Check the job invoice to see if a wheel alignment was done.

Check wheel nuts both ends.

Jack up a front wheel and rotate wheel by hand, look for out of round or a bulge. Repeat on other side.

If high Km, you are probably detecting wear in the steering components.

If you bought shitty tyres thats probably the problem. And what size tyres went on what wheel??

Could be rear wheel alignment, I checked the wheel nuts and all good front left was able to move wheel brace about ten mm if that the others all good nice and tight.
don't think it would be tyres as I have gotten these tyres before and had no probs but you never know or could be something in the front end what would be something easy to notice if there is a problem up there cheers.

Assuming all 4 tyres are sound, properly inflated and of the same specs, it sounds like a bad wheel alignment job. I would take it back and ask them to have another go. I've had this before though in my case the car pulled a bit to one side, they were happy to fix it, no dramas (Bob Jane). Second time around the car was perfect... I dunno, maybe it was rushed the first time.
