Hi guys

I posted a month or so back saying my rear end is sagging on the right and found out today by 20mm. Turns out will need new springs as the old ones or specifically one has collapsed or compressed whatever the terminology is.

Pretty sure they are king low KCFL-42 , KCRL-43 so shouldn't be too expensive. Does anyone have some spares front and/or rear for sale or where to get less expensive ones. Also wondering whether the shocks would have been damaged my mechanic doesnt think so . Or maybe ill just get coil overs probably waste of money.

Sway bar bushes have well gone and the links have been bent as a result so easy fix there i think , nolathane bushes the go?

Plus an oil leak at the rear of engine around cams o-ring ? I assume this is common with these engines said can be easily fixed for bout 40.

Cheers

Get new springs. What shocks are in there now? If original koni, get them looked at. Rebuild if necessary. If they are dodgy aftermarket replacements then replace them. Rear kyb shocks are around $100 each at repco.

Make sure that the swaybar links aren't bent. If they are, replace them. If not, get some nolothane replacements and swap them out.

Oil leaks can come from lots of places. Check that your rocker covers aren't leaking. This is typical mits stuff. Distributor o ring is about $5. Cam o ring is about $3. Both easy fixes with some patience and tools.

Are the bushes for the dlink shackles or the links at the end?
