I bought a single DIN CD player for my Verada and want to get rid of the double DIN OEM stereo.

Does the DIN pocket from a Magna fit the Verada to cover up the hole left?

No but mods can be made to make them fit.

The DIN pocket will ONLY fit IF the Magna has climate control. If not, then you will need to find a climate control magna/verada with a single DIN unit because they were different compared to the non-climate control single din pockets.
Late model TJ Advance/Sports & VR-X's and some Ei Verada's, all came with climate control and single DIN headunits.

I didn't have much luck finding one for myself so I fitted a TL centre console with din pocket instead :D

You might have luck finding an aftermarket universal one. Check a few audio and automotive stores.

Otherwise I've seen a few wreckers down here in Vic with them. I would've been willing to pick one up for you when I went a few weeks back, but I've got no plans to go anytime soon unfortunately. Hit up the AMC//VIC(mexican) section and see if anyone is going to Jollys uPullit anytime soon.

I made my TE din pocket fit into the verada fascia quite pain free. I did have some help from hot glue though.
