after having upgraded to alloys lately, i went thru a series of paint jobs on skirts, stripes, front and rear plastic parts on the car..
and smoked the taillights on the process..

well.. its first job ever.. its not perfect. i tried to lighten up the sockets where lights are inside as much as possible avoiding going too dark as i dont want to get fined for dark taillights.

i went to repco and supercheap hoping to find some more efficient bulbs for a piece of mind.. but i couldnt find anything apart from the standard ones.

ebay search also didnt yield much.. just full of crappy LED lights claimed to be 2x brighter yada yada.. i wouldnt believe unless someone actually bought one, actually saw its brighter and actually drove around with it and see it survive a couple months.

i am after some advice on where i can find brighter bulbs.
also, opinions about the work being road worthy or not would be appreciated.

sun is going down now, so i took two pics one with flash and one without. Its not sanded and buffed yet.. when its done it should be a slightly more transparent.

KJ verada tail lights use a T10 for the tail lamp, I put a LED in there and noticed no difference to the standard globe. Maybe bigger LED would show a bit better?
