Good work!
That's ~260HP
Have you had a chance to run it down a strip yet?
What are your next plans for the car?

thats tops! 255-260kW fly is sweet.... you better give us a list of mods (obviously its not as worked as RPW's) and how it drives.... does it torque steer much... how quickly does the fuel dissappear?? uno, the normal goss!

That's pretty impressive! Well done. You should change your nic to notsoslow. Can't wait for a strip time and I bet you can't want for a strip to visit the strip. How's drivability?

I am in the ACT, so yup waiting for a strip :) to run on :(
All my mods are in my profile :), the next step thou (very soon) is a heavy duty clutch as at 3500 - 4000 (peak torque) there is some slippage (at > 50% throttle).
The injectors are hitting 80% duty cycle at peak power, so will be upgrading those shortly too.
The CVs are also getting a little noisy, as you can imagine they have been getting a flogging, so they will be replaced fairly quickly too!!!! :)

For those of you who want to know how much. Well its hard to add up ... because I did alot of the work with a mate so there was no 'installation' charges so to speak.
But here's the components, allow for a good 20+ hours to install.
2 turbos .. I would recommend Z32 300ZX turbos (T25 flange). Should pick them up for about $1000 a pair second hand otherwise about $3500 for brand new ones.
Intercooler, about $600
Pipework and exhaust, budget for about $3500 (most expensive item/s)
Greddy, about $600-1200 depending if you get second hand.
Manifolds ... I would recommend the RPW ones, budget for $1200 ... talk to Dave thou for a quote as he may have some still. Manifolds usually cost about $200 a cylinder.
Fittings oil return pipes etc will add up to about $600 (speed fit is expensive so is braided hose)
Fuel pump I got was a Walbro (Fuel Miser) about $360 from Repco
Blowoff valve about $250
Fuel pressure regulator, $180
Pod filter $180
If you have an older 3rd gen like mine, you will have to replace the air con compressor, as it really is too close to the dump pipe (like a 2mm gap). A compressor off a lancer is ok, but you have to fabricate new brackets. Budget for about $400
The prices above are parts only (except exhaust). Fitting is kinda well ... how long is a piece of string. But in all honesty, it was the first 'turbo' conversion myself and a good buddy (who owns the workshop) have done ... so it was a major learning curve. But we spent probably 40 hours minimum on the car EACH!!
I am running the stock injectors, they are maxing out at 80%, so are good for the current power level. Any more boost thou and I will have to upgrade injectors, another $1000.
I have not done anything internally in the engine yet ... that is going to come ... I am trying to source another 3.0 litre to do all the work to and then drop it in and run 12psi.
Oh, and you WILL have to replace the clutch ... it just cannot cope :( I will be doing that next week I think :)

Of course I have done a bit more than the above listed items ... but they give you an idea as to what a 'get it running' conversion would cost.
I have only spent 2 hours on the dyno so far ... me running the computer and the dyno owner doing the 'driving'. This worked well for us as we just clicked and got the job done. There are a few little things to sort ... but they are only minor and don't affect driveability (to do with the BOV and coasting to a stop ... the idle drops too low).
Oh, and 195kw at the wheels will smoke my tranpaths in 2nd gear doing 50kmh, JUST by tramping on the throttle. This is a bit of a problem :) for the wallet at least.
I hope the above gives you guys'n'girls a little info ...

Hey, I never said its cheap. :) I shudder to think what I have actually spent :( But I am probably alot older than most here, and figure lifes short ... lets have some fun!! :)
That said I wouldn't recommend it if you 'have a budget'. Too many things can go wrong and end up costing more than you bargained for.

nice ride but s*** thats dear a supercharger runing 10psi new injectors, fuel pump, ecu, piping ,supercharger, pod filter fitted and dynoed $8000 like you i had to get new clutch and im geting new fly wheel would advice you do the same your stock one will not last 5 mins do you have a LSD would help. i have gone new koni shocks to help with tramping of the wheels. next week when its finely dynoed we are hoping for 230kw atw i have been told you can run over 10psi in a stock motor with no trouble would love to see your car are you coming to amc meet in november

dave should of thought of this first off.. to replace a perfecty good aircon unit is silly.
no problems my end of town, plenty of room, but well done.. good to see the turbo word has been spread...

Very unique, good work. I like my imports but doing something like this is different...and different is good...why did everyone have to out and buy imports lol. Good figures too :D

Booya, good to hear your still around :).
I think the air con unit in the TF is a lot longer than the TH and TJ. The lancer one is about 2 inches shorter and the clutch is on the 'other side' of the pulley so the room is now heaps.
In fairness to Dave, I didn't buy his kit, so deficiencies (or advantages) in my setup cannot be attributed to him ;). I bought the manifolds as it worked out cheaper than fabricating my own. Although I would say they are probably in the best spot, as the starter motor starts to get in the way if you go any further towards the passenger side, and also the engine mount would make intake piping a little difficult (its tight as it is).
The problem with TTing ... is room. If I was to do it again ... a high mount single over the top of the gear box would be the go!! Everything would be cheaper then.
