Supercheap auto has a 2 for 1 sale on these and wondering if they are a good pad to consider?

Not sure about braking performance as I upgraded to ralliart brakes when my pads were worn so can't compare them but on my tl manual I got 100,000 kms out of a set. The front were right on the limit but the back still had about 20% wear left.. That's mostly highway use with a bit of "enthusiastic" driving as well

As long as the "2 for 1" offer means you can get a set of front pads plus a set of rear pads, go for it. Assuming they stock the Magna ones.

Then again at $72.90 it's hardly a bargain. My most recent pad purchase was $25 for a front set and same for the rears.

I personally will never buy Bendix brake pads...have never been happy with them. Actually I think I have a spare set somewhere in the shed I should get rid of.

good luck with finding a set for the Magna, usually "two for one ' is they are getting rid of the stock and it is store stock only.

I'll check if they have the Magna ones in stock.
If they do though I assume these pads should be ok? Comparable to QFM HPX?

Probably old stock for Ford, Holden.

Doubt they are as good. If GTVi doesn't like them, I wouldn't bother. But if you can't resist this "bargain" go for it, and let us know how you go.

I've found the standard pads wear and work better over the 330,000kms I've had the TH for.

They were either shit pads or you didnt buy them from a retail store. $72 is very cheap for a set of pads. Magna owners must be stinges.

Yes, bought them from a retail store.
(Parts Boys, Philip Highway, Elizabeth.)

Shit pads? (RDA GP max, rdb1203sm)

They are better than the ones that came off the car. (PBR)

How long they last, well, I will see. Warranty is 12 months, 20,000 km. Should see 45,000 km unless I turn into a hoon overnight.

Found the receipt, actually $35. lol
Would you think better of them if I said they were $85? lol

I had bendix ultimates on mine when I first brought the car and they were noisy and dusty. I later changed to QFM (HPX on the magna and the SS) and have never looked back

My mechanics when I first got the car did the brakes they use "Maxi Stop" pads, compare them to Bendix General CT's and cant pick alot of difference.
