What is the normal range for the idle speed for a cold start like overnight or after a day?

Mine starts at around 1,500rpm and relatively quickly goes down to 1,100rpm or so where it stays for a few minutes.

Don't know what is the normal range, but mine goes from 1550 to 1250 in about five seconds and after a couple of minutes settles at around 700 rpm.

As above, Cold idling in P from memory is around 1200 once it revs down from starting up (the 1500 rev) . Around 1000-1100 in drive, and progressively lower from then to operating temp, and 700rpm.

Depends on temperature too, initial idle seems to be a lot higher in winter.

Cheers guys. I find that the cold start noise is not that bad if I shift to R or D straight away and was wondering if the initial 1500rpm on a cold start was abnormal.
