does anybody have trouble with fuel delivery? i seem to get fuel cut if i am 1/4 or less of a tank and i am driving spiritedly! if i'm in a big corner and the car is loaded up! (Generally right handers) i'll be comming close to the REdlin in 2nd and all of a sudden! no power! Instantly it has no drive
i have to basically unload the car, and wait for petrol delivery, (I imagine that this is also very unhealthy for the car! running really really lean!) do you think i need a new fuel pump, or that maybe it's a common fault!

te 3.0 v6

any other idea's, it works fine in a straight line! and if the corner is not tooooo long, (maybe i need a surge tank!) but there is a corner that is really long near my house, and it has a change directions! 90degrees to the left, then it does a 180 deg to the right! and i have been able to come out at 75-80kmh, the speed sign reccomends 25k's

Any thoughts would be appriciated thanks

Yeah I remember a post a couple of months back on surge tanks - apparently the TE on magnas have this problem - I am yet to have it - but normally I fill up before hitting half a tank if I can help it!!

I get it....not so much thow in actual driving motion...
Just after my spirited drivein comes to a quick stop its shudder...then drop out...

can solve it with a surge tank...but mah...it adds to the fun!

So I guess its not an electrical problem?
Just a thought... Ie if it works fine straight ahead.

I wonder if you can get a stainless baffel fold out expanding system....
I remeber seeing these models that they simply start off with this little thing and buy pulling the opposite side and the way it is hinged etc it expands into this hugh ball/roof etc...
What Im suggesting is if there might be a way to open the top of the tank.... put this small object in that has the long skinny flats or flats with holes in it, and then by pulling on a cord it opens /explands inside the tank .. thus creating a baffel system.
Ok so Im sitting down and my words are muffled through my pants ... just trying to think outside the box... or inside the tank...

Personally I think this would be more effort than the good it would do!!

But if u r willing to cut up your tank and give it a go then let us know!!

i dont think that i'm willing to cut the tank! however ask a few ppl about it! until then i think that spirited driving will just require more petrol!
