My electric aerial died a long time ago (mast seems disconnected from the drive mechanism).
Have unplugged it to stop it trying to drive up and cable-tied to keep it up. Have seen a few at the wreckers and they have all be done the same. A Verada sedan (mine's a wagon) came into the wreckers today with "only" 190k on it and the aerial still connected. Interesting that the aerial in this wreck is badly corroded about its plated body, as is whatever computer lives behind it in the LHS of the boot.
Does anyone know if the fault with mine can be fixed, and if not, is the sedan aerial the same as the wagon? If so I'll take a chance and grab it (and the white KS grille) on Saturday.
