I own a 2003 TL wagon, a few weeks ago the nylon strap broke on auto antenna, I removed the broken piece out and replaced mast with a aeropro 253, I couldn't find a definitive size so I fitted it anyway. It worked well for a month before it got "spat" out and was left swinging on the side of the car. I don't know the mast replacement size for TL wagons so thought I would fit an interior antenna (I have the factory radio/cd player) has anyone had trouble or success with these, or is it possible to fit a fixed push/pull antenna, sorry for long winded explanation but this is doing my head in, I need am radio before the cricket starts!

on Tl wagon I wrenched on earlier this yr (with $zero budget), I just took out the nylon drive strap :)

Steel mast is captive & won't fall out without taking out the castle nut; unless its damaged.

DIY something to stop the tip from falling too far in & it can be operated manually just fine.
