Hi cleanskin,
My TW has a gas system; dont know what brnd it is; can find out if you need to know.
The car runs a treat on gas; about 500Km on 60 L of gas. VERY cheap to run. The TW has 185,000 K's on the clock. The gas is SO good, I've not put a whole tank of petrol through it yet.

Hi rumpfy Thanks for your feedback how many k's have you done since filling up with petrol i was told i should drive around 10 k's on petrol once a week to stop the seals drying up.

Is that city or highway driving?

Very BAD move about the petrol. Fuel goes stale and oneday you will need the fuel and the car simply won't run. Is a mistake so many make

Agree with this. Ive had a bad tank of fuel and my car is on LPG too.
As i dont use lots of petrol, i try give it about 20km a week on petrol to keep it fresh in the lines and put about 10-15L of 98octane about every month or so into the tank

I would be more inclined to run the car on gas, but once a month run the petrol down from half a tank to close to empty (say 50 km showing on the trip meter), then filling up back to half a tank, and running on gas for the next month. That way the petrol in the tank is always a maximum of one month old.
Worst thing you can do, on a Commodore at least, is to run the petrol tank dry then switch to using gas. When you come to use the petrol, it won't run (even if you added petrol of course) because the pump has died from sucking air and overheating to burn out time. Keep at least 1/4 tank of petrol in the car.
