Hi all,

LONG time no activity I know. . .

I have had a little issue as of late where-by I hop back into my car (it seems to be on rainy days) and I crank my car an it won't fire as if the factory immobiliser isn't being stubborn. I have had it replaced once as it left me stranded at the servo.

Question - Has anyone had an issue with rain affecting their immobiliser AND what is the quick method to bypass it and fire up the fuel pump? Mal did that and i've forgotten and I might need it one day until I can figure out whats going on.

Mal - if you see this, can you let me know the bypass trick was?

Thanks for any help,

Presti

Ok didn't give really enough information - Its a TF Magna, it happened when I left work today and just then as I went to the shops (both when I went to leave home and leave the shops)

When it cranks, it doesn't fire at all, i turn it to off but DON'T remove the key then turn it again and it fires up. I'm leaning towards the immobiliser unit which means the key recognition system which sucks :/
