Hello, I have a 1994 TR auto 2.4L and found a TR v6 instrument cluster in good condition. What speed reading problems will I encounter if I replace the 4 cyl. one with the v6 one???:eeek:

I haven't tried this and can't provide an accurate answer.. but I've seen in other car makes that the tachometer can be highly inaccurate with different engine sizes.. not too sure about speedos.
If you end up trying it, give us some feedback on how it went.
Also, if they're incompatible I have two spare 4cyl clusters in good working order in case you're interested, located in Toowoomba.

They should be a straight swap, the only difference if seen between clusters is some have a seat belt light, security light or the rare electronic suspension switch gauge

The speedo should not be a problem given that the signal is most likely coming from a sensor on the diff.
