My heater/ac fan is not working on the 3 lower speeds but works on the 4th speed.

The AC still kicks on and the flow through is cold so the ac compressor is working even through the fan isn't on the lower speeds.

So I ask is there a fuse that operates the first 3 speeds of the fan or will I have to drop it round to the auto elec and use the Clubsport(damn) for a day.

possible that your fan resistor is buggered. mine was in the same state until i got a new resistor. simple fix to do, too.

The fan resistor IIRC is behind the glove box on the fan box? Should be an easy replacement.

easy replacement as Dreigner mentioned well at least he knows he watched me do his one for him :p

That's everyone I'll have a look in the next few days when I get an hour or two spare.

by the way i know that there is at least two different types of resisitor blocks they use. One is like a ceramic type one and the other is a metal type and they dont mix and match

Don't run the AC with no fan, quickest way to stuff it up. If you really need to use the AC, just use the fan speed that works.

Had a look, couldn't see it so I've dropped it up at the Auto Elec, he's also gunna put the thing on the computer to check out my abs/handbrake light as well.

Ummm Max the AC will not kick in without the fan going....

The resistor is in the base of the fan box, remove the glovebox and metal bar to get to it. Ceramic one is for non climate, alloy one is for climate models

Picked the poor old girl up and the fans fine now.

They are sure the abs light is because the module thingy is stuffed as no codes came up when they plugged it in.
