Would a KR V6 Engine fit in my TR? i noticed the engine bays are almost identical appart from the 4G54 4 Cyyl... and it will be automatic...
would i have to change ECU & transmission ECU?

I am sure it would fit being the same car, but I think it may be easier to buy a KR instead considering how cheap they car?

the v6 wont fit a 4 cyl car as they have a different front engine mount set up

Can the mount setup be changed? The outer shell in engine bay might be able to be taken out..

anything can be done. but its not worth the time and effort you will need to change the right hand strut tower

Have you priced up the cost of obtaining a KR or TS/KS V6 engine/gearbox and reconditioning those?
Besides modifying the engine bay, you will also need driveshafts, brakes and wheels from a donor car.
