Next service is coming up and I am changing the spark plugs.
I decided I would put long life plugs on all 6 cylinders so as not to worry about it for a while.
From my research it seems that not only are there many brands to choose from, but many different of long life plugs for each brand.
So, which plug is the best?
I am leaning towards the Bosch Platinum+4 currently as this is what Bosch claims to be their best plug, unless someone can steer me towards a better option?

I vote for NGK Iridiums - they have a very fine point which gives a more intense spark. They made a noticeable improvement to my TJ Magna, which had platinums on the rear bank and standard plugs on the front. Cost was about $63 for a pack of 6 (including delivery) from Ebay.

I thought Denso was IT! Not that I dont use anything but NGK myself anyway. Good price on the Iridiums. Didnt know they provided a bigger spark, thought it was purely about longevity...

I got mine from ebay UK for under $60 delivered, set of 6 Iridiums.
Under $10 a plug seemed pretty good considering at Supercheap they are $23 per plug

They have "NASCAR" written on the box, so they have to be good right? :ninja:

I'm using Autolite XP Iridiums (http://www.autolite.com/enmx/node/424) all-round.
11 months and almost 30,000km later they're still fine, as one would expect.

These ones?
I put iridiums in my wife's TF Magna, as well as in my NL Pajero. I thought that there was better low speed response, but didn't say anything at the time. After a few days, she said to me "What have you done to the car? It seems to be pulling much better." I think that says it all, although I didn't record any noticeable improvement in fuel economy.

... although I didn't record any noticeable improvement in fuel economy.
Neither have I, and in under normal circumstances you wouldn't really unless there was something seriously wrong with your old plugs.
