Hello All, Seeing that I just changed over the Front driver side engine mount on my car and came across a few things that I wish I was told before starting, I am now writing a Tech Guide on Changing over of Front engine mount.
The First thing you have to do is check your tools!
you must have the following:
1)
17mm LONG SOCKET, Not one of those short stubby sockets, you need a LONG ONE. And perferrably 1/2" drive. A 1/2" drive extension socket comes in very handy if you have it, if not, it'll be tight to socket it in.
2)
a 1/2" drive wrench, or a 1/2" drive foot long torque wrench, you need to length because the bolt and 2 nuts on the mount is tighten to 95~ 115Nm. It's BLOODY TIGHT.
3)
Trolley Jack and Jack stands.
4)
Phillips screw driver - to remove the washer container
5)
10mm socket to loosen the Cruise control brackets.
Now if you have all of the above, You're SET!
Step 1:
To remove the old engine mount, you must first lift up the engine slightly from below, because my car was too low and I couldn't get the trolley jack beneath the sump, I had to jack up the driver side and then I put my old disc rotors in between the trolley jack and the sump and jacked it up slightly! Looks like this:

Step 2:
To loosen the engine mount, you should take out the Bolt and 2 nuts on the engine side before you take out the locating bolt that attaches your mount to the chassis.
The bolt should be loosen first, then loosen the nuts. These are tighten to 95Nm ~ 115Nm, they are very very tight, if your wrench is too short, you'll need a Pipe or some sort of extension. I used my foot long torque wrench to loosen and tighten these.
The Locating bolt through the chassis is much easier, just use a normal wrench and 17mm socket and you should get this off with no problems.

Step 3:
Now that you have taken the bolts and nuts off, you need to loosen the cruise control unit in order to give yourself extra room to lift off the engine mount, if you don't have a cruise control unit, you're laughing! If you do, all you gotta do is use a 10mm socket or 10mm spanner and loosen all 3 bolts, no need to fully take them out as you can get enough room just by loosening them. Once you have enough room, lift the engine mount up, careful not to pull sideways in case you damage the two engine mount guide bolts. Once it's out, install the new mount in, in the reverse manner as you taken it out.
Step 4:
find the right height to insert the locating bolt and do that up first before you tighten the engine mount bolt and 2 nuts. The torque for the locating bolt is only ~30Nm.

Step 5:
Tighten the 2 nuts first, no need torque it up yet. now Tighten the bolt. Now you have to slowly lower the trolley jack to let the engine sit on the mount. Now torque up the 2 nuts and bolt to 95Nm~115Nm.
Step 6:
Drop the car back down from the Jack stand.
Step 7:
you're Finished.
