I know these will fit, but will they be too far in the car?
What is the stock offset for the 17X7 wheels on GTV or VRX models?
And I heard they have something different with their control arms if someone could please clear it up?
I would run 215/55 or 225/50 depending what's cheaper

Stock is 17x7 + 46 I think. Id say it will fit, but you may need a 5mm spacer in the rear. And it will look terrible.

I don't want to run a spacer as they are illegal and from what I understand dangerous too.
It is just a 4mm difference overall?
EDIT:
Keeping in mind the car is standard height and I don't place on lowering it

Get under the rear of the car. Assuming you have standard wheels, tyres and ride height, you can judge for yourself how much clearance there is behind the wheels. Not much at all.

I'll have a look.
Though my initial concern was not the clearance behind but rather if the wheels would stick too far in the car, making it handle and look poor

Yes VR-X and some other models had a different control arm.
I think you would risk scrubbing, and it would look terrible. I would give them a miss.
