Long time since I've posted.. :/ I feel so lost!

On my Diamante, the turn signals blink when I unlock the car, they used to do it when I locked it. I've constantly tried the process that's in the manual without success. And yes, I did check my blinker fluid! :P I searched but I couldn't find a thread that talked about it. I'm not sure if you guys had that feature? If you guys do, where am I supposed to hear the beep that it talks about. Inside or outside on a certain side of the car?

Worked fine before, it's just weird. If I remember right, the central locking is part of the BEM on these. Mcs_xi told me about it. Maybe a fault in that?

-edit-
Don't quote me on the BEM part. lol

On my magnas, 2 blinks on lock and 1 on unlock, but only if I use the remote. No beeps unless the bootlid or a door isn't closed properly.

Okay sweet, that's what mine does. Well, supposed to do. haha, so I'm not totally lost. I lost the lock blinking, unlock still blinks, and same with horn on lock.

as long as you can hear the locks engaging when you press the button then everything is still fine. relying on a blinking light when you may not actually have a locked car could be worrying.

You don't have a BEM.

USA Diamantes have a Multiplex wiring system with various ECU's and ETACS to control the locks. There are 2 different ECU's you have for this, the one under the parcel shelf, and the one that plugs directly into the fuse box.

There are a couple of other ECU's for the various internal lock switches but.

Ah. That's what it was. I'll mess with it see if I can't figure the issue out. I'd say fuse but why would it still blink on unlock? Idk just thinking out loud. Hopefully I didn't mess anything up when I ran my amp wire through the grommet by the fuse box. Dreigner had a good point too though.

But thank you for those locations!
