ive recently been having a few problems with my car (03 KL AWD)

first one is engine reving as the atuo box shifts to first, it makes the car lurch forward, idle can also be eratic sitting on 1000 revs then to 1500 back to 1000 (thats only happend twice in about a month though), 95% of the time i have no issues with the idle, its smooth and doesnt shudder at all, also when i cruse down this hill eveyday on my way to work the decline of the hill is just right where it sits on 80 without having to brake or accelerate, the car will drop in revs by about 400 the pick up back to normal it cycles therough this every 5 seconds or so, ive cleaned my throttlebody with no effect could my isc or tps be on the way out?

second problem is within the last week front side drivers suspenson has started to clunk sometimes under heaver brakeing today its been alot more frequent and has started doing it on takeoff, ive had the control arm bushes replaced about two months ago, any ideas what this may be, im looking at replacing my shocks next week with new strut tops, hoping strut tops may fix the problem

sorry for the long message lol just little problem that are really annoying me hahaha

On the first point, have you monitored the instantaneous fuel economy going down that hill? You may see it fluctuate between 0.1 l/100km and around 3-4l/100km at the times you notice the revs change. This would be a result of the ECU and TCU juggling the injectors on and off to "coast". Can't say I've seen multiple on/off cycles myself, but I've heard of others who have.

On your second point, have you had the front ball joints checked?

thanks for the sugestions ill jack up the car tommorow and see what condition the ball joint is in, with the injector cycling your saying thats normal, how about my jerky downsift and increased revs to first, isc maybe, ive dont the trans relearn procedure 3 times to to avail
