Apologies, this is my first post!
Recently purchased my second 380 being a march 2008 series III GT (dual fuel). The gas system is around 3 years old and a 58L (usable) vapor injection system fitted aftermarket.
I've had the gas serviced by the installer recently of which the telemetry showed it was running too rich. This has been fixed and subsequently the engine light stayed off for a while. Since the service the consumption is about 11.5L/100km, however now during braking the revs will drop down very low causing the car to almost stall. It wasn't doing this previously and does not do it on petrol. The servicer said its to do with the burn mix during idle on gas not being as smooth as petrol and its common. The engine light came on as a result of the car almost stalling under braking on one occasion.
The servicer has directed me to the dealer to check the injectors as they could be dirty. I don't want to waste my time of anyone has any advice!
Cheers

Have you tried cleaning your throttle body? could be sticky throttle plate.

Cheers mate. A mate of mine said it could be dirty. What would be the best and easiest way to do this? It's almost stalling then kicking back up to a regulated idle almost under every braking period on gas.

Would not be a tb as it drives normal on petrol. What puts me of is the fact that car was running rich before. Was it running rich under load or full time? Vapour injection systems listen to petrol injector pulses and work of that, so in closed loop mode your petrol ecu will read o2 sensor even when the car is running on gas and make adjustments to injector pulses to make sure the car is running at 14.7 afr, so your gas system will listen to those changes and will respond by adjusting amount of gas injected. Now if this was not happening it means that your o2 sensor needs replacing, this is the first thing your gas installer should have done. I'd say the car stall becuae of his tune take it to another place.

Cheers mate. I've also been told it could be a basic adjustment to the vacuum pipe.
The gas mechanic adjusted the mix to be between -0.8 - 1.5 at idle on his tester. He believes it to be running perfect, I have taken it back 3 times mind you.
Also said on falcons it's common and they drill a hole in the butterfly to enable more oxygen in for a better idle under braking...

Yeh i have 2007 on LPG vapour BRC i have never had any issues aside from high pitch sound from switch was when at high revs pressure was to low. I'm in SA and theirs only one gas place i would go for sevice thats Croft Auto at Mile End they have all the software.
