I got myself a set of front awd brakes, but for some reason the calipers won't let go of the rotors!? The rotors still spin with the calipers on as they are, but I can't separate them. What am I not doing? Also with the lines, do they simply unscrew from the part that connects them to the steel part of the lines? (see bottom pic)

Use a screw driver and pry the brake pad away from the rotor.

the brake lines unscrew from the steel part, use a flare nut spanner on the nut, not a normal spanner. hold the other end tight. when i did mine i gripped the brake line using a normal spanner, on the bigger nut and used the flare nut spanner on the smaller nut(twist the opposite direction(ie bring both spanners together) to crack the nut. important part is use a flare nut spanner or you will strip the nut.
