Ive just purchased some alpine speakers to upgrade the factory speakers in the doors. When I opened up the box it says that I need to disconnect any existing tweeters. Does anyone know how to do this? I have a 2002 tj magna vrx.

Disconnect the battery, find the tweeters which if this model has them will in the dash holes or in the sail panels and then cut the wires and either remove the wiring or tape well over the exposed ends.
