Hey guys..
Just wondering if an Exhaust system that's been in Dry shed storage since 2003 would still be OK to use ?
It looks fantastic and pretty well new all over, but My concern was the Cat. Conv..
Might be a silly Questions, but Would the Storage Cause any damage to it ?
THanks..
MR..

Should still be okay if there is no signs of rust. Give the cat and mufflers a shake for any signs of dislodged internals. If it doesn't rattle all should be good.

Hey mate..
Thanks for the quick answer..
There's a little bit of surface rust on the flanges and inside the pipe I can see inside of, nothing that looks sinister, certainly no nasty lookin external rust on the resonators/mufflers etc....

Sounds like you've got yourself a new muffler to fit then :)

Surprisingly easy on a Magna. Penetrating spray on the nuts, bolts, and rubber hangers and it's off. No need to :sook:

Quick shake on the cat? See if bits and pieces either fall out or you can hear loose material inside. If not, should be good. Storage shouldn't degrade it at all.
