After the new 17" rims and strut brace I think the steering wheel needs to go. I had a MOMO champion on my old MkII Golf and it made a huge difference to driving comfort.
The standard TH Exec wheel is too big, too thin and too unleathery. I know you can replace it with a leather VR-X wheels for ~$500. I assume the size is the same?
Has anyone seen or got a MOMO airbag wheel? Or any other brand. Any idea on prices?
To add to the on-going strut brace debate - IMHO it makes a difference. Harder you go the bigger the difference. I've noticed less understeer and better turn in. It doesn't get knocked offline by mid corner bumps as much and has better braking. Traction out of junctions with steering lock on is way up also. The wheels were on before the brace and made big difference, especially traction in the wet, but this is on top of that.

The silver leather VR-X wheel is really nice, I had one on my last ride.
Fortunately the Ralliart that I recently purchased has a really nice red/black leather Momo airbag wheel allready on it though. :D
Note: If you car came out of the factory with an airbag it is illegal to replace it with a wheel that doesn't have one!
Another option to look at would be to look at getting your existing wheel leather wrapped/bound. Could possibly be cheaper and will likely look just as good if done right!

Just to show I'm not a completely lazy git letting others do the work:
Emtech said forget about MOMO after market wheel if you have an airbag.
They will trim a magna wheel for you to your specification in a similar fashion to the VT Commydore wheels they have on their website http://www.emtechautomotive.com.au/products/emtech_steeringwheels_list.html
Cost is around $200 fitted if you give them your old wheel.
Other than that it's a Mitsu replacement or illegal non-airbag option (not for me).
I'm going to look at the Mitsu ones tomorrow.

The VRX leather steering wheels are very nice, I have one and I love it. But it would be cheaper to have yours trimmed it would say.
The GTV steering wheel would be nice, im assuming its the wood one? My uncle has one in his car and its very cool, although im more for leather.

From speaking to retailers there isn't one. I'm sure MOMO would make you a custom one-off. Probably cost several grand!
