I have a few questions,

1st do the rear door skins fit from a KJ Verada sedan fit into a TJ Wagon ?

i measured them, they look the same, any one actually done it ? (not the doors, just the electric windows and leather biz)

does the floor loom from a sedan work with a wagon ?

i scored a written off Verada and want to put the electric windows, Cruise control, Climate control etc and leather interior in the wagon

both are series 1 TJ from 2001

If its the same series, you pretty much could do a copy and paste style transfer.

Why not basically electrically reshell your TJ with all the complete verada interior?

I know the S1 KJ Verada's had the 4sp auto, so if the TJ wagon has a 3.5L engine then AFAIK everything should be able to transferred over - looms, actuators, ecu, bem, keypacks, cluster etc etc

thats what im planning on doing, totally gutting the wagon and using every thing i can from the verada XI , bar the back seat, fuel tank, muffler

i was hoping the fuel sender unit would swap

i just read a post from the archive (in blue n white) , about the rear door glass being different, as im using my doors and re fitting all the electrics n skins

i think i should be good to go

not doing the ABS/SRT thingy

and to be honest i dont like the black out cluster, but i reckon ill have to use it when i change all the looms

EDIT: thanks for the help mate, i remember you helping me out last year

From what I have researched, the wagon and sedan rear doors are interchangeable, except for the glass, so the door trims - theoretically - should swap over.

i will be swapping out the motor and trans from the verada as its only got 105 k on it and mines a 3.0L with 250 k, with no service history

timing belt was done , but its 5 years old so ill have do that and the acc belts as well...

If the engines out then do all the serviceable items - all belts, pulleys, tensioner, spark plugs, seals, water pump, gasket and rear main seal. You'll thank yourself later,

The looms do not change over from sedan to wagon, the side / rear looms are completely different

The doors will change over, only the glass is different

What about the back of the rear seat, can that be somehow put into a wagon?

No, they're a different shape and don't fold.

so ill have to get a verada wagon side/rear loom to get the rear electic windows to work ?

the engine loom and dash loom are ok to swap over ? (for blackout dash ,Climate and cruise control )

But would the covers transfer, I don't think many if any wagons came out with Leather.

Verada have a different shape seat foam with the wide ribs. If it did per chance fit, it won't fit as it should.
