Just wondering if someone can tell me wat the stock torque figure is for the 2.6ltr with eci is.. I want to know because my car is gonna get engineered soon and they will check if the standard gbox will cope with the torque of the 4g63t. Thanks

efi im pretty sure is 205nm. carb is 195nm

Correct. 93kW and 205Nm for EFI, 83kW and 195Nm for the carby suckers.

well that means its only about a 90nm difference between the two engines. I reckon the gearbox can cope coz if it was gonna break it would of the first time i drove it.. but the engineers need evidence. anyway if worst comes to worst i can get a vr4 gbox for $500

i had mine dynoed the other day, it made 55.8kw atw and 194nm torque, its a Tn efi, all stock

had it rebuilt? sounds alittle tired. especially since the carbs are sposed to b 67kw at the wheels.
