hey guys

got an issue with the tf that started recently.last night afer finishing work(pizza delivery), i noticed a "grinding" sound when reversing.i thought that wasint right.left it off overnight and started it up this morning and drove it for a quick lap to the shops(normal pace).ideally at 2500-3500 rpm in gear it starts to hesitate and the grinding noise can only be heard from the cabin.i have a video which i will upload later

also in advance, i accidentally filmed it upside down so apologies

why i am worried is this could possibly signal the end of the car.it's still special and i dont really want to part it out.also i have a feeling its a transmission problem rather than an engine problem but the mechanic today also said it could be the water pump or something in the timing system.

You need to be a bit more specific.

Is it eng, tranny or brakes?

What are the conditions at the time you hear the noise.

Whatever breaks, can be fixed. Time, effort, money are the magic ingredients. lol

Not something simple like shagged CV boots/joints?
