Hey guys,

I have a simple headlamp buzzer/reminder (just a red and black cable) to add to my '96 TS but I'm not 100% sure on where to add it.

Can anyone give me a few pointers?

Thanks!

I need to check the lights on my car tomorrow.
The main beam doesn't switch off when you cut the ignition switch?

German cars in the 60's and 70's had a function whereby when the ignition switch was cut, the main beam would cut but the parking lights stayed on.
Some offered an option where if you parked on the l/h side of the road and applied the r/h blinker, that side would light up and cut the l/h side.

If you want to wire in a buzzer, you will also need a relay.

Wire the ign through the relay coil, terms 85 and 86 from memory.
And wire the wire FROM the headlight switch to the light relay to terms, 87 and 30,
That should cut the lights when the ign is off.

Cheers.

Yeah mine cuts the main beam when I cut the ignition. That is enough to kill my battery if I'm feeling particularly absent minded and leave them on.

Find a Verada and add the ETACS module too your harness.

Thanks for the info

Do you mean add the ETACS in addition to the buzzer?

Does this mean that KS sedans have lights-on alarms? My KS wagon doesn't. What is ETACS? Some additional body computer that does all the high-end functions on the luxury models? (But not the wagons?)
Not hard to find Verada stuff at the moment. Saw a KS XI get crushed the other day, Parabolics and all.
